Dr. Timothy B Gilrane Saved My Life, Thank You Very Much !!

This doctor kept me waiting in the hallway at the hospital for over 2 hours for what was supposed to be a 1/2 hour procedure on my husband. Another hospital worker finally went into the room to see what was wrong and said he would be out shortly. When he came out, he yelled at me from about 12 feet away "your husband has cancer and he only has at the most 6 months to live". When he got to me he said there was only one doctor who could do the surgery and he wouldn't work on my husband. I asked him who it was and he told me the name (who DID do the surgery on my husband) but again said he wouldn't work on my husband and then he just walked off. A friend of mine took his elderly mother to Dr. Gilrane (I told him not to) for a colonoscopy which was done in the office. He perforated her colon and she had to be rushed to the hospital. She was in ICU for a long time and on a vent which they had problems getting her off. Never went back home and died in a nursing home. If I could have… gotten his license I would have

I think he must get his patients confused regularly. I called him about a problem my husband was having and he completely started talking about someone else. He also seems a little goofy acting and I don't trust him. I think he has his issues.

I have been using Dr. Gilrane since about 1995. He has always been considerate and caring. I would recommend to anyone with Gastro upsets.

This Dr. practically saved my life, from dealing with dr's who could care less. He is AWESOME, don't believe the non-sense you read from these other people! He has a great patient relationship, I thank him and forever will!!!!! Very professional...

Dr Gilrane called me by a different name while entering the room and asked "How is your tummy feeling?" I was having problems with my left side! (Not sure why I actually showed up for my colonoscopy after this, my second, visit!) He diagnosed me with diverticulosis. Said he took pictures of the diverticulosis and polyps. Upon looking at the pictures with me he discovered he had failed to take pictures of the diverticulosis. No way to go back and get pictures until my next colonoscopy. Filled out the questionaire from the facility that said they would contact me if any problems. Never heard from anyone!!!!! Would NOT reccommend this doctor!

This doctor didn't help me at all. His consultations need work, and the expensive procedure he performed did nothing to cure my problem. He didn't even recommend a plan B. I felt ripped off, disappointed and desperate for a doctor who cares about patients as well as making money. I would tell anyone considering this guy to try someone else.

Dr. Gilrane misdiagnosed my colon cancer an "upset stomach". If it weren't for another doctor, I would be dead now.
