Dr. Timothy Joseph Gurrola, DC

Dr. Tim Gurrola is a chiropractor to chiropractors. He studied at Palmer Chiropractor College and was trained by one of the best Gonstead doctors in the world. In his own right, he has become one of the best chiropractors in the world. As a Doctor of Chiropractic myself, I choose to be treated by Dr. Gurrola because I get results when I am adjusted by him. It is for this reason that I am willing to travel 1500 miles one way, to see Dr Gurrola. In addition to the Gonstead technique, Dr Gurrola has added the upper cervical Blair technique. The combination of the two techniques is powerful. Dr Gurrola is skilled, caring and compassionate. I recommend him without reservation. He is a miracle worker!

Dr. Gurrola found my problem and fixed it. He's been nothing but professional and very effective. I'd suffered for years with a skin condition that he fixed. In the changing/therapy/waiting room, there are locks on the doors that can be used. He'll give a tap and call to the patient that he's ready to see them. And the doctor checking the hip alignment (referring to the other person's comment), made me smile. Because I've had that, too - yes, our hips are on the lower part of our spine and mine have been adjusted when I'd had pain radiating down my right leg. I'm not bothered when doctors have to see parts of me to do their part to help me.

The office staff up front were always nice and pleasant. However, I was seen for over three months 2-3 times a week with very little improvement (they don't take insurance). Felt uncomfortable and taken advantage of during adjustment. He would pull my pants half way down to expose my bottom just to adjust me. He also would pull my pants down underneath my gown with underwear exposed to 'check my hip alignment'. He also walked in on me changing before the appt several times when he knew I just gotten into the room. I want every woman to know this 'method' of adjustments are not right! If you feel uncomfortable listen to your instinct and get out! I wish I had sooner. No one expects their doctor to violate them but it's out there. I doubled checked this 'method' with my new Chiroprator and she was appalled.
