Dr. Timothy G Herring, DDS

My wife and I have lived many places (including overseas). We thing Dr Herring and his staff are wonderful! The dental hygienist (Karyn) is extremely conscientious and does a wonderful job. I think Dr Herring reviews the x rays and other analytical information at night, so sometimes we get a call the next day. My wife and I would highly recommend, and I've had a lot of dental work!

Dr. Herring’s office is an unhappy, cold, disrespectful, negative and rude environment. Today was my last visit there. The dental hygienist, Karyn, didn’t have the common courtesy to ask me to move my head while she cleaned my teeth. She forcefully moved my face herself. She did not introduce herself or even ask me my name. She told me to turn my cell phone off and take my lip gloss off. She cleaned my teeth so harshly my gums bled and my teeth feel sensitive to the touch. She stood in the room and watched me while I rinsed my mouth, correcting me on how to rinse. The entire appointment cost $224. It was a 30-minute teeth cleaning and the dentist didn’t have time to look at my teeth or x-rays. When I told the front office about Karyn’s behavior they told me they receive complaints about her all the time from patients. Okay. It doesn’t seem like this office wants to change their poor service.

I shutter to think of elder patients going to Dr. herring office, they are only about making money, and pushing patients into expensive dental procedures with no explanation. I am 53. My advice, be aware that this practice is very pushy from your appointment time to the next procedure they will perform and charge you for, an don't send elders there without supervision.
