Dr. Timothy Randall Hopf

My mother went to Dr. Hopf for years up until 2010, when she moved out of Denver to be with us in another city. On a couple of occasions, I called to ask him about how she was doing as she was in her late 80's at the time. He was rude and seemed to be insulted that I would ask him a question. We got her out here to California in 2010 and within days she was diagnosed with late stage Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma. Either he didn't catch it or he didn't tell her. Either way I believe he was negligent. She had been complaining about so called "gastro-intestinal" issues for years. If he had ordered a simple CA125 test that would have shown it and we could have had time to decide what to do for her. As it was, she only lived two more months. He was arrogant when I called to talk to him about her health, he refused to talk to me and was insulting in the process.. I think he was arrogant professionally when he neglected to do a full investigation of her complaints. Patients… beware. This doctor has an inflated sense of his own importance and inerrancy and is wrong about both.
