Dr. Timothy Huckaby, our triple board-certified Associate Medical Director at Orlando Recovery Center, specializes in Addiction Medicine, Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. A graduate of LSU School of Medicine, Dr. Huckaby's extensive expertise guides our 90-bed drug and alcohol rehab facility in Central Florida. The facility offers a full continuum of treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders, including medical detox, inpatient rehab, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient rehab. He works with most major and local insurance carriers, including Florida Blue (BCBS), United, Aetna, Cigna & Veteran benefits. Same-day admission is often available.

He is the only doctor that has taken time to listen and explain . The addiction program changed my life. If all you are looking for is drugs you not going to be happy, if you are tired of doctors just pushing drugs on you, he is the doctor to see

The worst doctor for addiction .. This man should be fired!!!! He is rude and does not care.

THIS DOCTOR IS THE MOST HORRIBLE BELILLING DOCTOR IN THIS TOWN. SPEND 15 MINS WITH YOU, YELLS AT YOU AND WILL NOT PERSCRIBE WHAT IS NEEDED.

He is the first doctor that has taken the time to explain my disease to me. He took time, listened, and made me feel better. His staff and his therapist were excellent and that program has changed my life.

DR Huckaby is very disconnected from his patients.He spends very little time with me and does not even make eye contact.The words how are you doing never come out of his mouth.He talks about your meds and reads his notes on the computer and your done.I actually timed my last appointment and it was 3 minutes and 16 seconds.And I pay him 100 a month.I will be having a back surgery soon and I called the office to discuss some issues everyday for three days and he never returned the phone call.His response was he needs to make an appointment.I likened that to how a lawyer would behave worried about his hourly rate.It is very scary to have my life in his hands.
