Dr. Timothy Alexander Kelsch, MD

Dr. Kelsch was recommended by my primary care physician when I was looking for someone to fix my deviated septum. After doing an internet search on the three doctors he recommended I picked Dr. Kelsch and now two months later, now post surgery, I'm still so glad I did. He was very professional and made me feel very comfortable about the procedure. He explained everything he would be doing during the procedure in detail and answered all my questions. Between a few staff in his office and a few nurses at the medical center where I had the surgery, I met about 6 people who had actually had the same procedure done by him. His office accepted BCBS of AZ at the time of my procedure. My only recommendation is to book any appointment in advance, the new patient appointment took me over a month to book out, the surgery was another month. He is a popular doctor for good reason. Also make sure to get the contact number for his assistant and the office billing rep. I was told they would call me… and they did, once. But I missed the calls and we played phone tag for a whole week because they only return calls once a day.

I had major sinus surgery. No post-surgery pain (!); great follow-up and I'm breathing like never before.

Dr Timothy Kelsch and all his staff are amazing. After being diagnosed with a tumor on my right parotid gland I looked for an ENT to do the surgery and Dr Kelsch came highly recommended. He was patient and explained everything, going over the whole process and answering all my questions. The surgery went great and the scar is healing nicely. If you need an ENT Dr Kelsch is the one you should choose. I promise he will exceed your expectations.

Dr. Kelsch took time out of his own schedule to perform my tonsillectomy. Very professional office and staff. Could not be more thankful for the care I received from the Doctor. I would recommend him to family/friends or anyone looking for good care.

Dr. Kelsch was fantastic – professional, knowledgeable, friendly, etc. I was referred to him because of a thyroid issue which ultimately led to me having a Thyroid Lobectomy (one lobe of the thyroid removed.) As a result of all the various testing and results, there were a number of options on how to move forward and treat this issue. From the beginning, Dr. Kelsch took the time to explain to me in detail my diagnoses, the various treatment options, and his recommendations based on research and his experience. I had a list of questions each time I was scheduled to see Dr. Kelsch – the comprehensive information he provided always resolved my questions before I even had to ask. I was never rushed in any of my appointments and conversations… I am still taken aback by how much time he spent with me (and my spouse). I appreciated him giving me the medicalese and then explaining this in terms and language I could 100% comprehend. His staff at the downtown Scottsdale office was also… great – very professional and caring. I was also extremely satisfied with the Surgical Center he operates out of (Greenbaum Surgical Specialty Hospital). The process has been so smooth… I was always 100% comfortable on how we were proceeding. The “cancer” word can cause a lot of stress… Dr. Kelsch minimized my stress and worry… I knew from the first five minutes that I was in competent hands.

I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Kelsch from a plastic surgeon regarding a misdiagnosed tumor on the side of my face. Carrying this tumor around for about 7 years, being told it was muscle build up on my jaw due to clenching my teeth - by an oral surgeon - was terrifying to learn what it truly was. Dr Kelsch is kind, caring and did a great job removing what turned out to be a benign tumor. Here I am 2 weeks later and I feel great, the scar is healing nicely and I could not be happier with the results and with Dr. Kelsch. No need for a second opinion. You have the best right here!!! I am going to repeat this post on multiple sites - in case you are shopping around for opinions. Happy to talk to anyone thinking of using Dr. Kelsch as their surgeon.

Dr. Kelsch is an awesome Doctor. He listened and addressed all my concerns and the outcome of my surgery was more than I expected. I'm so happy I choose him !

I was referred to Dr. Timothy Kelsch after a growth was discovered on my thyroid gland. As it turned out, it was not cancerous but it required surgery because of the size of the nodule. During the whole experience both before the surgery, during my hospital stay and during the follow up treatment, Dr. Kelsch and the staff at Valley ENT in Scottsdale have been caring, communicative, and helpful to me. As scary as it sometimes was, Dr. Kelsch and Valley ENT gave me the kind of care you always hope you will receive when you need it!

There are not enough kind words I can say about Dr. Kelsch and his practice.I went in to see Dr. Kelsch when I nodule in my thyroid tested with a high possibility for cancer. On my first visit Dr. Kelsch was patient, kind and heard all my concerns. He explained all the risks and options available to me, which I appreciated very much. I was not rushed, or made to feel unimportant. I got my surgery and needless to say Dr. Kelsch and his surgical team are amazing! I have never had such a wonderful experience during such a scary part of my life. Dr. Kelsch and his team took care of me and my family. He went the extra mile and made the incision along a crease line in my neck so that the scar would not be visible. This experience was so wonderful I wouldn't of minded the scar. This way I would have a reminder of how one of the scariest moments in my life, turned out to be such a wonderful one. Now all I have is a little invisible "happy face" scar, that matches the smile on my face, and my… heart. You will not find a better surgeon I can guarantee it!
