Dr. Timothy Fredrick Krous, MD

I have been taking my children to Dr Krous for years and have never had a complaint over their care. He is very knowledgeable, understanding and caring not only for his patient but for the parent that has been up with a sick child all night. However I have had problems with the office staff when it comes to billing. The most frustrating thing in the world is having to fix a problem yourself that should have been handled right the first time. The person who handles the billing is not available everyday so it is hard to get ahold of them on your time schedule.

Great staff and great doctor. I think it is also great that they have a Nurse Practitioner on staff that can also see children.

Very dismissive if your child has any chronic health issues. Just pray that your child is and stays healthy if he's your ped. Or else you're going to be in trouble b/c pediatricians play an integral role in regards to the care your child receives from specialists...

Really seems to care and works with you to improve your Childs well being

Do not trust this doctor to diagnosis anything other than the obvious. My daughter has suffered kidney damage due to this lack of care or dianosis. Nice guy, but very dismissive.

Brought children in for a well child check-up. Filled out the paper work was told to ask insurance if they would cover some tests. had a nurse talk with insurance approved the tests. Visit was great until I recieved the bill from Village pediatrics for tests that were not covered. The reason for not covering the test is the way it was billed. They billed for a optomitrist test for corrective lenses. From what I know Village Pediatrics does not produce corrective lenses glasses or contacts. They need to fix how they bill people in the future and be more up front about how they will bill the insuance Company. Leave the Optomitry to the Optomitrists.
