Referred to Dr Kuang by Dr Levitan for vertebroplasty. Scheduled at 1:15 pm, waited one hour to see him. Surprised to see a physician dressed in scrubs with surgical mask on through which he spoke his heavy accented English. I purposely did not tell him I was a retired pain physician. He directed his conversation toward my husband, not female me. Disrespectful to a woman. When we left, waiting room packed, spilling patients to balcony, sign of poorly managed scheduling. Decided to go out of town for treatment.????

Extreme pain from a pinched nerve in my neck. One injection stopped the pain for 5 years.

Needs to go back to medical school and take a refresher course in bedside manner

I've been a patient here about a year, and while there are some nasty exceptions to the rule, it's been a pretty pleasant experience. There are def problems with apts running late, but that's because the drs give all the time they need to address your questions and needs. And most of the staff is upbeat, courteous and genuinely interested in seeing you feel better.

Have been seeing dr. Kuang for years. Very knowledgeable and caring.

visit felt like a workman's compensation processing office. Had to give urine sample as a condition for being seen by the doctor. This was a initial consultation regarding a pinched nerve in my neck, covered by my personal Insurance- no work related. With appointment, waited 30 minutes before being evaluated by assistant, then waited another 20 minutes before being escorted into a room with another assistant with Dr. Kuang seated at the end of the room 8 ft away. He read the notes from assistant and said the same thing my General physician had told me, he spent a total of 5-7 minutes with me. Although my Insurance covers such visit with a standard co-pay, 5 months later I received my first bill from his office: $1,100 for drug analysis and $375 for visit. It appears, but not clear on billing statement, that Drug analysis/ Urine test was mostly covered, but the $375 for the office visit was not. Filing claim with insurance and possibly with the AMA for questionable billing… practices and office procedures .

Wish there was a MINUS star rating. I'm almost 65 yr old and this was by far the most horrible medical experience I've ever had! Was referred there for knee & back pain and was really looking forward to getting help. Waiting room was filthy. Receptionists were not friendly or helpful. Waited almost 2 hours before going in a room. Finally when in "Dr" Kuang's office, he sat 10' away with a mask on. Wouldn't listen to me or even let me talk. When I tried to say something he talked over me VERY aggressively. At one point, I got up to show him my prescription bottle and he yelled at me to go back and sit down. After 20 minutes of being yelled at and degraded, I told him I didn't want his "help". I left in tears. After reading the reviews of others that had the same experience, I'm so glad I did! I feel like I dodged a bullet! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
