I wanted to introduce myself as the new pediatric dentist who set up a practice near Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls.  I am board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  My office is a provider for the most common insurance plans, including Texas Medicaid.
We provide sedation in the office and full mouth dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls.  Patients should no longer need to go to Dallas for surgery.  We treat children from six months old to twelve years of age.  Medicaid offers a great dental wellness program, Texas Health Steps, for infants starting at 6 months old.  All infants are encouraged to start preventive checkups by a dental provider, even without the presence of dental decay.
My experience includes ten years as an Army pediatric dentist and graduate pediatric residency training with Baylor College of Dentistry at …Children’s Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Dallas.  My wife Melinda and 3 children are very excited about the new beginning in Wichita Falls, Texas.
After growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I graduated from Haverford College in PA in 1993 with a degree in mathematics.  In 1999 I completed Northwestern University Dental School on the Health Professional Scholarship Program offered by the US Army.  
From 1999 to 2008 I served in the US Army active duty as a Army Dental Officer.  My assignments included completing 1 year General Practice Residency at Ft. Benning GA. I served as officer in charge at an overseas clinic and was deployed to Iraq after the war began in 2003.  I served as Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at Ft. Campbell KY and a mentor for the One Year Advanced General Dentistry Program.  
I have received my post graduate training and the certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas TX.  I have achieved the status of Diplomate, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I seek to remain active in multiple local, state and national dental associations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association to name a few.
Since my departure from the Army in 2008, I have been working with Dr. Wavel Wells as a full time associate in his large, multiple pediatric dentist groups in Lawton, OK.  I consider Dr. Wells one of my mentors and a friend.  
My wife Melinda and 3 children have enjoyed Lawton, Oklahoma, and are very excited about the new beginning in Wichita Falls, Texas.
