Horrible experience.They claimed to have submitted paperwork for medication authorization but never did and were unwilling to follow up claiming the wait time on the phone was too much, yet I was connected within 1 minute or less.

I brought my 2 month old son to Dr. Lorenzen because he is a Pediatric Ophthamologist. However, this practice was not at all accommodating for children. First of all the appointment ran almost an hour late. As I was waiting in the exam room, my son woke up and was very hungry. I tried to soothe and distract, but being a 2 month old nothing would satisfy him because he was so hungry. A sign had been posted in the lobby saying "No food or drink in the exam room". I had my husband go speak to the assistant to see if we could feed him because he is a baby. She said we could go back out in the waiting room (and give up our spot) or wait for the doctor. Neither are good options when you have a screaming, hungry baby. So we waited. Finally a man came in with a box and started getting out medical equipment. And then the doctor came in. No one ever introduced themselves or explained what was going on. The doctor attempted to look at my son's eye, but in all honesty I don't even think he saw… anything because my baby had his eyes squeezed shut from screaming. I was very disappointed that this was supposed to be a place for children. This is so far from the truth. I would never recommend this place or doctor to anyone, especially a child. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Plus I had to wait on hold over 10 minutes just to make an appointment. I can keep going on and on about how horrible my experience was. Please do not go here.

You might have to wait a little to see him, but the reason seems to be he takes the time to really communicate with a patient. Outstanding results for me, and his entire office staff seems helpful and caring.
