Dr. Timothy Boyd Mapstone, MD

He was our hero back around 1991-1992 when he was in Cleveland. He did surgery on my daughter when she was 12 to fix a spinal issue where her brain stem was compressed against her spine. No other doctor believed her pain. She has had no other issues ever since, he will always be our hero. She is now 45 years old.

Dr. Mapstone treated my daughter, Kylie, for an AT/RT tumor in 2006. He and his team were incredibly kind, talented, and knowledgeable. We were blessed to have been referred to him.

I found out I had Chiari Malformation type II when I was 4 years old. Dr. Mapstone was my neurosurgeon and he preformed my decompression surgery. We had also found out about my brother having a brain tumor about eight years of having him as my neurosurgeon, so we made sure we had him for my brother as well. Great man.

I absolutely LOVE the staff at Dr. Mapstone's office. They are kind, caring and prompt. I love that I am able to send emails and they are returned in a timely manner. Dr. Mapstone isn't overly friendly, but my children like him, and he is very knowledgeable. I completly trust him!

Dr. Mapstone performed regular neurological tests on my child in the office. He watched her walk, play, and asked questions. He had the mri results, and then told us "Go home." He was curt and short, and there was nothing more to be done. I would not recommend him. We are now driving down to Ft. Worth to see Dr. Honeycutt, and have had MUCH better success!
