Dr. Matway is a very caring and life changing physician who truly cares about his patients and listens to the needs of his patients. I have had back pain for 33 years and I am now a 53 year old male. I have had 3 back surgeries, stem cell treatments and years of pain medicine and epidural shots with numerous other doctors throughout Macomb and Oakland counties without success. I have lived in pain all of these years and struggled with day to day life’s activities and weather changes. I was in a slump and having a tremendous amount of pain and I asked my primary physician for a new doctor and I needed help. He recommended Dr. Matway to me and I made an appointment. Dr. Matway listened to my case and asked if I ever tried a rhizotomy which is a procedure to burn the nerves within the facets of my spine.
