Dr. Timothy James Nussbaum, MD

Seeing him for over 30 years. Will not go anywhere else

For 3 1/2 years I have been pleading with Dr Nussbaum in Greenwood to refer me to a specialist to assist me with a pinched nerve in my neck that causes me excruciating pain in my left shoulder radiating down my left arm and causing numbness in my fingers. For 3 1/2 years, Dr Nussbaum has never completed my request to the point of me receiving medical assistance to relieve my debilitating pain. I am living on more pain meds then healthy and not able to sleep more than 45 minutes at a time but Timothy Nussbaum refuses to follow up on a referral to make sure I get assistance. 3 1/2 years and now I am suffering permanent mussel atrophy in my left arm and permanent loss of strength. I have filed a complaint with Franciscan health previously without even a reply! This is not acceptable!! I finally contacted Timothy Nussbaum's office again today to try to instigate services previously promised for 3 1/2 years...I was given an unbelievable excuse as to why the referral never was made or… responded to in the past 3 1/2 years and I was assured I would hear from the doctor referred within the hour and they would expedite an appointment...that was at 11:00AM...It is now nearing 11:00PM WITH NO FOLLOW UP OR CONTACT! I AM FINISHED JERKING AROUND WITH DR NUSSBAUM AND FRANCISCIN HEALTH

Dr. Nussbaum is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable practitioners I have encountered. I highly recommend him.

This Doctor never ever came to examine me. I waited for 3 hours (like a dope), because I didn't feel well and needed my medications (none were controlled substanses). He is a disgraceful example of a physician. His staff kept telling me that he was in with an "emergency patient" and wouldn't be much longer. I never heard of such a thing as why I was not told to leave and reschedule. I felt that he didn't like having an ill patient with chronic medical history? I cannot believe that I even waited as long as I did. I was not aware of the time that I was awaiting to see him. He NEVER did see me. If the other patient was an emergency, they should have went to the hospital. Something is wrong with this "dr." (if he in fact is still a dr. UGH!!!

He is well worth the wait in the waiting room.

NEVER AGAIN! Complete lack of respect for others time! I have been a patient here for over 5 years and have had to wait at least an hour after my scheduled appointment time to even get to the examining room, and then wait up to another 30 minutes to see this doctor. The final straw for me was when I arrived on time for my appointment and the receptionist told me that they did not have me down for an appointment and that they would have to "fit me in." I had made the appointment one week prior and had to take off work. After waiting 85 minutes the receptionist informed me that 2 people were ahead of me and that Nussbaum had some complications and was running a little behind. This must be an everyday occurrence for this physician- SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Dr Nussbaum has a great bedside manner. However, waiting close to 2hours everytime I need to see him is just ridiculous. Every time I need to ask for a refill on a prescriptions it is like pulling teeth. It takes days to get a call back and they frequently write the prescription incorrect. I am presently looking for a new physicians because of the waiting time and the amount of time I have to put in to make sure the doctor's office properly fills my prescription.
