Dr. Timothy N Patselas, MD

This "Dr" gave my father a medication that made him very ill. Turns out he did not check current meds to see there was overlap. Then offered to call his real provider.

Dr Petselas saw my boyfriend in the ER at Onslow and admitted him for surgery after a short consult. 4 hours later he was in recovery with a new lease on life. We are extremely grateful to his care and skills and for getting the surgery done the same day rather than waiting for a follow up consult. It is made such a difference in a matter of 12 hours and he is a super hero for taking care of things so quickly!!

Had 2 surgeries with Dr Patselas. After my hernia surgery the scar tissue made it was worse than before surgery. 2nd surgery he did not prescribe any pain meds and was told to go to the emergency room. Staff was rude and uncaring. I never followed up because of their rudeness and no one ever called. Seems like a money business. Had problems with billing and took almost 6 months for them to correct. He has the personality of a clueless nerd. Go out of town. This office is needs a better office manager and good nurses. They seem to only care about quitting time and not the patient.

Dr. Patselas is an adept, skilled surgeon who made an accurate diagnosis, which is the most important factor. However, I felt as if he was in a bit of a hurry, as if I was just a number or another patient on the checklist that needs to be completed. It's unfortunate because otherwise he does do a good job and is quite likable.
