We had a great experience with Dr. Pettitt and all the nurses and doctors at children’s on the CICU floor. Dr. Pettitt explained everything before my daughters surgery, we asked questions and he answered them with explanation about what we asked. We had up to date info throughout the surgery and how it was going. After her surgery he can in explained how the surgery went and how he thought it was and what we needed to do or what else he thought needed to be done. Came to us every morning following the surgery to let us know anything knew or if we had any questions. He was a great surgeon in my eyes and the way he was toward my daughter and me and my husband. I highly recommend him for any kind of heart surgery or condition.

Horrible Surgeon. Communication is horrible and we had the worst experience of a lifetime with him. Word of advise, please don’t let him operate on your child.
