Dr. Timothy Mark Ricketts, MD

I think this doctor has gotten in trouble from prescribing narcotics. He refuses to prescribe any cough medicine that actually works. No codeine. After calling in after 1st visit with sinus infection and was told you can only have bromphenir. So after 2 years of visits for sinus infections etc, I’m going elsewhere. We are both in the medical profession and have good conversations, but I’m here to get help getting better and coughing all day and night isn’t helping me or my wife……

It would be better to see a veterinarian than this awful, horror of a human being. You have to make your own diagnosis and he’ll give you the pills. ABSOLUTE DONKEY.

Dr Ricketts is a fast talking slickster. His entire approach is pure buffoonery. He doesn’t come in the room with a stethoscope. If his physical exam documentation includes anything more than what can be gleaned with the naked eye, he should be investigated for insurance fraud. Seems knowledgeable, but has no interest in educating his patient. It’s baffling, if you have to be present for your job-at least, DO the work and do it to the best of your ability

I scratched my cornea . I went to the Brookwood Emergency facility on Hwy 119. When I realized it wasn’t an Urgent Care facility I made the comment to the person taking me back that I didn’t realize that and hothey ed my insurance would cover it... I was in pain. She said they would check. While waiting for the doctor the insurance person says it was Sunday and they couldn’t get insurance information. Again, I was in pain. Dr Ricketts came in and numbed my eye.. that took about 3 minutes . 20 minutes later he came back and when I said it felt much better he said that told him the problem. He looked in my eye with a light and was out in maybe 4-5 minutes! Insurance girl comes back and says to sign and they would submit. My prescription was brought to me. If I had known all this I could’ve gone down the street to Urgent Care for my $25 copay !!! Waiting for an astronomical bill. I’m a retired teacher that was visiting my grandchildren . Should’ve been given this information… immediately! And they send in , in my opinion, a doctor in such a hurry that I don’t even know when to stop using the ointment! Very disappointed in the facility and can find nowhere to contact this doctor .. all numbers online aren’t working . Why would this facility use a doctor like this and be so discreet about my insurance coverage until I had been treated? I was not in excruciating pain such that I couldn’t have discussed this initially!

Best Dr. I have ever had.......

So disappointing.... He was my Dr. For Several years. My first appointment with him was good, he was very thorough and friendly. The last year has been a joke. He spends exactly 2 minutes at most in the room with me. Just long enough to write a prescription. He has a lot of knowledge, unfortunately he is not interested in sharing or helping you understand that knowledge. If you are a drug rep, go give him a visit, he will most likely have plenty of time for you.

Simply a horrible Doctor! Spends no time with you at all! I'm turning him over to the medical board and the state!

Have been seeing Dr. Ricketts for 20 years and his quality of practice has declined. I don't know how he can still hang the signs that he was/is one the top rated physicians. Something has happened in his life to change his bedside manner. His staff has also declined! What happened??

I have been seeing Dr. Ricketts, since 2004, and he has saved my life two times. He is very knowledgeable and can help you with all kinds of medical problems, his nurses are very sweet and helpful. Donna, is a delight and always ready to assist anyway she can. Thanks to all the staff.

Ran a lot of lab tests but never follows up. Wrote a prescription for medication and he doesn't have a DEA number so they pharmacy won't fill it.
