Dr. Timothy T Robinson, DO

Fail on returning phone calls. Called the office for 2 days. Left messages, no return calls. Reached the office day 3, no help. Going to another Doctor. I will miss Dr. Robinson but his staff should work in retail, so that they can do no harm with their carelessness.

Dr. Robinson is an exceptional doctor. He certainly cares about his patients and is a talented doctor. The scheduling in his office however, is poor. Trying to reach his office is also poor. My wife has been leaving messages for 2 days with no callback for a school vaccination. On day three I finally reached a staff member who said that we could get a prescription note to take to the pharmacy for his menningitus shot. Most pharmacies have signs that say you can walk in for this shot. Gong to the office would mean a 1 hour + wait and a co-pay. The last time I was there, I was in the waiting area for an hour +. I showed up 8 minutes before my appointment. I was then placed in an exam room, waited 15 minutes before a PA saw me for the initial exam. Ten minutes after that, the doctor came in. So he saw me at 11:25 for a 10am appointment. Another patient walked out in frustration. Something needs to change at the office !!!

My wife went in for blood work. She checked in at the desk, and told them blood work for thyroid. 20 minutes later they called her to the desk, and told her that blood work was now done offsite. They did her blood work offsite and nearly 2 weeks later, no prescription. I called the doctors after hours number and the office. Later that afternoon, no prescription. I called the office back and complained. They then phoned in the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. Found it, but still waiting for the primary prescription to be phoned in to Express scripts. Calling them again today. Dr. Robinson is the best. His staff are the worst and should be working in retail not a doctors office. This way they can't do any harm with their oblivious behavior.

Where to begin Dr Robinson is a fantastic doctor His front office staff is the worst I have ever seen They are so incompetent one wonders how they keep their jobs. Here are two examples

Dr Robinson is a great doctor. He is very knowledgeable on internal medicine. I have been going to him for more than 20 years he always seems to find time to squeeze you win when you're not feeling well.

My appt was 11:30 am. It is 2:07 still waiting 2 hrs 27 min

you call for test results or forms and leave message's nobody ever gets back to you. Dr Robinson is nice but his staff needs help

Dr. Robinson is an excellent DO. Let me start by saying that having a "nice doctor" is not my priority. However, I don't know how Dr. Robinson does that. No matter how late and busy is his day (and I've seen this office packed and under emergency, not with me Thanks G-d), and he still always keep it calm, with great smile and all the time in the world to attend to you. But more importantly, Dr. Robinson is extremely knowledgable, keeping up to date (I know because I am an allied professional), thorough and, as I said, always has the time to explain anything and everything. The only downside is the wait time, but when your turn comes, and he attends to you fully, you understand why. If you need a family doctor in Bayside/Queens area, don't hesitate to call his office. His team is also always very nice.
