Dr. Ryntz and the entire staff at Westchester Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology are beyond amazing. Dr. Ryntz is a top notch surgeon. He is very understanding and listens to your concerns. A first rate professional experience from start to finish.

I had several alarming things happen to me and he never calls me back. I'm moving to a new OBGYN and have been calling multiple times to get my medical records and *crickets* yet again.

Dr. Ryntz is easy to talk to and never it never hurts when he examines me. He is thorough and explains everything. I left and went to another gynecologist about a year ago because I was told he no longer gives the annuals and I would have to go to his nurse practitioner for that. I hear it's changed now and I'm glad.

I told Dr. Ryntz about family history of fibroids and my pain. He told me no one in their 20s gets fibroids and refused to do testing. The next gynecologist I went to ordered an ultrasound and found a small fibroid Now, two years later, my fibroid has doubled in size and I have to go for a surgery consultation. If I had stayed with Dr. Ryntz I would never have found this.

My regular OB/GYN at Columbia Doctors referred me to Dr. Timothy Ryntz for a surgery consultation. I was nervous going into the appointment with the uncertainty of what to expect. I was immediately put at ease upon meeting Dr. Ryntz. He has a very welcoming personality and truly seemed interested in hearing what I have been going through. He took the time to answer ALL of my 5,000 questions and gave me assurance that I could ask 5,000 more if I needed to. I will need a hysterectomy at the age of 39 and due to his mannerism and knowledge, I am confident that I am in good hands! P.S. I wish he could be my regular OB/GYN!

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Ryntz. I explained to him that I have a family history with fibroids and have terrible pains and requested an ultra sound to rule them out. He told me I was "too young" to have them and then stopped the conversation. Later I went in for an IUD and he didn't explain any of the potential side effects in the appointment before. Only in 3 minutes before we were to insert the device. The pain was horrible and I was totally unprepared for it. I had the device removed two weeks later. If I had had the information the week before maybe I wouldn't have had to undergo a painful two weeks with the device for no reason. I'm sure he's knowledgeable but he has no bedside manner and treated me like an idiot/body on a slab. Oh, he didn't have the right swab to test for STDs so I had to go in to another office a second time to get the test redone.
