Dr. Timothy S. Sadiq

My experience with this surgeon, team, and system was profoundly disturbing. Following surgery, serious complications arose, and I witnessed poor judgment, inadequate oversight, and a troubling lack of adherence to medical standards during critical moments. My family member's condition became life-threatening, and the handling of those near-death situations left me concerned about competence, decision-making, and accountability. I was shocked by the heavy reliance on trainees in surgeries and situations requiring high expertise, as well as the manner in which communication with the family was handled throughout the hospitalization. Our concerns were dismissed and we were denied factual information on my family member's condition. The overall experience created a deep loss of trust in Sadiq, the students, the staff, and administrators. Based on what I personally experienced, I would strongly caution anyone considering treatment here to seek alternative providers and institutions for… their medical care.

Dr. Timothy gave me everything I needed. He was very nice and hard working. I would recommend him very much.

where others failed, the great Dr. Sadiq saved my life. gave me back my dignity, communicated and cared. not many days go by in which he is not in my thoughts.

I suffered complications as a result of my surgery at UNC and had an absolute horrible experience trying to figure out what was happening. Once you're on the ward, they wake up you up at 5 a.m. and ask you how you are. You say you have pain and they nod and leave. Two days later, you're fighting for your life. Sadiq was my surgeon but I saw him maybe 5 times in two months. A resident operated on me, I saw someone else each day--the faces continually changing, and I had to beg for an NG tube when my surgery site swelled shut. I wasn't even told I had an obstruction--I read it in my records. There were many different things in my records that were inaccurate. I highly suggest a different surgeon and hospital!

Dr. Sadiq is by far the best doctor I have ever had the opportunity to meet with. He did such a wonderful job on my surgery and I haven't had any problems since. Even after I moved he made sure that I was going to be taken care of. Wonderful, wonderful doctor!!!!

I was diagnosed with colon cancer and Dr. Sadiq was commendatory by my doctor. Dr. Sadiq was caring and kind on top of being a superb surgeon. Never would I wish cancer on anyone, but if you find yourself with colon cancer, there is no better surgeon. Hospital care was also wonderful and everyone I met from the janitor to the surgeon was caring and thoughtful.

The first time I saw Dr. Sadiaq was the most emberssing time of my life, but the way he talked to me and my family was outstanding .I had to wear a bag that was placed on the outside of my stomach for almost a yr, and he did a amazing job with that surgery. A yr later I went to have it removed and went into a 3 month coma 2 days after sugery . the care and concern that was givin to me and my family words can't explain . Dr, Saidaq is a Loving dr. you are not just a person to him you are a part of his family . I have high regards for him and his staff. If there was every a person that desevered a a Gold Medal in Medicine he would be first in line .

Dr. Sadiq has been very nice to me and understanding of all my concerns. I had to see him for what I consider an embarrassing issue. He helped me feel at ease and, again, has been very nice. He also patiently answered all my questions.I've had two surgeries with Dr. Sadiq, and all has gone well. I like this doctor and feel comfortable with him.
