I've had two procedures with Dr. Schaefer and couldn't be more pleased. He takes the time to fully understand your goals and then skillfully executes the plan. He's realistic and explains what can and can't be done, so that you are well informed and can make appropriate decisions and know what results you can expect. As a nurse, I really appreciated his compassion, knowledge, and high level of skill. I highly recommend him!

I chose Dr Schaefer to perform breast reconstruction immediately following a bilateral mastectomy. I always felt well informed & taken care of by Dr Schaefer and his staff! I am extremely happy with the results!

I have had an outstanding experience with Dr. Schaefer. He performed reconstruction surgery immediately following a bilateral mastectomy. He was very thorough and clear when explaining options and procedures. I was included in decision-making. He has been extremely empathetic and patient throughout the lengthy process. Dr. Schaefer and his staff are always available to answer questions, to see you if necessary and to provide encouragement and support! I recommend him enthusiastically!
