Dr. Timothy Sehorn, MD

Dr. Sehorn started with Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, Department of Surgery in November 2021 as an Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care faculty member. As a faculty member, Dr. Sehorn has assisted the Department of Surgery Residency Program with didactic lectures and surgical training. His clinical expertise includes Alimentary Tract Surgery, AntiReflux Surgery, Breast Biopsy, Biliary Disease, Biopsy, Breast Cancer, Breast Surgery, Complex Hernia Repair, Gallstones, GI Disease, Head & Neck Surgery, Hemorrhoids and Laparoscopic Appendectomy. Dr. Sehorn is a Board-Certified Physician in General Surgery and a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Sehorn serves as a Commander and active member of the United States Navy Reserves. He has received the United States Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM) and (NCM). Dr. Sehorn is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at University of Texas Health Science Center and Baylor College of …Medicine. He is a member of American College of Surgeons, Texas Surgical Society and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dr. Sehorn was recognized for Exemplary Service while serving on the United States Navy Ship Mercy
