Dr. Spencer is a breath of fresh air. If you want to be shuffled through a system that capitalizes on endless pain injections, PT, your doctor visits, etc. without ever doing much or offering final resolutions to the problem, go to Bronson or Spectrum. If you just want to complain about your problems instead of get better, again, go to Bronson, Spectrum, or even go see a psychologist. If you want to understand what's wrong and how to get better, see Dr. Spencer. After going to Bronson and Spectrum (Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids respectively), Dr. Spencer was the only doctor to truly explain and help me understand what was happening and what I could do. 5 years later, still feel GREAT! Thank you so much Dr. Spencer for giving me the tools to help me live my life!

Dr Spencer did a decompression on my lumbar region. 4 months afterwards am having alot of difficulty walking and standing. He made my problems a lot worse. This man mustve paid the professors to pass him.

Dr. Spencer performed a cervical spinal fusion on me, assuring me that it would repair my hand numbness/ weakness. $80,000 later nothing had changed.When i told Spencer my family doctor suggested I have a brain mri and see a neurologist, his reply was " I could schedule a brain mri for you, but its a waste of time and a neurologist cant fix anything. He then told me he needed to operate on my elbow.I asked what would prove i needed that surgery his exact words were: "this is not exact science and i need to operate until i get it right" What a Quack! 8 months later and a lot of messing around I went to the UofM After a brain mri the neuroligst told me I had suffered a stroke! Today I still have limited use of my hand
