i had stone as a so called docter at russellville va clinic.this pos should be fired and never allowed to practice medicine.i was trying to get info on upcomig back surgery.when i looked at him he was asleep.i could write a book on this persons incompitence.he had x-rays done on my back.he called to inform me e-rays looked ok to him.i asked if he had looked at my mri,s he responded with oh you have had mris done.lazy scam the gov person.

This man Is not a Dr. he's just setting back getting his gov. check till he can retire.

Absolutely no bedside manner....all he wanted to do was refill my Rxs....no exam just in and out. He didn't bother to examine me or ask me why I was visiting the VA....just refill my Rxs and you're dismissed. I made him examine me after which he decided he would get some xrays. Not impressed at all....he also chastized my civilian MD who is a much more attentive provider and actually renders and examination when you schedule an appointment. The staff were lazy and yelled across the room rather than meeting a patient half way - geez what about HIPA?! I was asked about my insurance 3 times - two of those times someone was yelling at me down the hall or at reception. I told you I don't have insurance....I don't really care how incorrect your computer is, but I do care about you announcing to the entire clinic my private business. One receptionist couldn't read the provider's hand writing so she couldn't make me an appointment. I even read it to her and she argued with me, so I… told her to get up and go around the corner and ask the provider herself. She responded that she would just have to mail me an appointment date. Well, sorry that you didn't trust my reading of his handwriting and you were too lazy to get out of your chair and find out what it said so that I could have a follow up appointment date. At that point, I was so embarrassed at the facility's behavior all I wanted to do was leave. The only friendly component of that facility were the veteran patients and one employee, Holly, the lab tech. Holly was a standout against no competition in bedside manner and just manners in general. Too bad I need the VA or I wouldn't return....now that's just sad!
