REALLY good explanations

Really great information. including how cpap is different from the things dentists make.On my first visit he knew everything about my medical history when he walked in and how some of it can be worsened by my apnea. Definitely knows what he's doing. They could use a few new chairs in the waiting room but it's good to have a really good doctor.

staff rude & unresponsive. if you have a disorder other than sleep apnea, he doesn’t want to bother with you

Good doctor. I was diagnosed with apna over 10 years ago. He told me to do a sleep study which was going to cost me over $600 because my insurance sucks. I went to Ohio Health and they were going to charge me over $3,000!! What the heck! I went back to Dr Walter. At least my oxygen levels were OK. Thank God.

I have been Dr. Walter's Patient for 15 years. He has always been very caring and forthright. I look forward to my appointments with him.

The scheduling was good. The testing was compassionate and professional.After that things went downhill fast.At the follow up Dr.Walter's wanted me to come back for another study. Said I may need Oxygen as well. Why didn't they do that on second sleep over assessment. Felt I was being milked for more money. They NEVER returned ANY calls to me or my case manager for 2 weeks, even though Dr.Walters scared me by saying I had extreme Sleep Apnea and could have a heart attack or stroke. In order to the Rx for CPAP machine I had to physically go to the office and ask for it. They kept me waiting 45 mins. before they released it. This also happened to a friend of mine that went there. Then they turned me over yo collections even though I was paying some thing every month. They sent me to collections for $339.73 even though I owed $322.33.

Really good explanations. My husband wouldn't use his machine because he didn't think it was important. His last sleep doctor didn't explain anything. Dr Walter gave great explanations and answered questions. Good wake up call for hubby! Only criticism is that the waiting room can be really busy.
