He genuinely cares about his patients! Very accurate diagnosis, doesn't overload with medicine, spend enough time to carefully examine all aspects during the examination. Best doctor in the area!

I have been a patient of Dr. Yawns for 20 years!! He has always been very courteous, as well as his staff. I would trust Dr. Yawns opinion over any specialist!! He has always diagnosed the problem before any specialist! 4 Immediate members of my family are patients of Dr. Yawn! During Covid-19 the doctor set up a virtual visit and was very patient in waiting for me to hook up the needed items to have the visit. He is a great doctor and I would be happy to debate this with anyone who leaves him a bad review!!! Love ya doc and staff!! You are the best!! Diane M.

I treated with Dr. Yawn for over 3.5 years after moving to NWA from Dallas. I threw a dart and landed on this facility as it was close to work. First impression was the office staff and nurse Nonie were rude. In addition, the appearance of the facility was, and continued to be poor. I thought to myself if there were a ghetto in Rogers, this had to be it. Despite the continued attitudes from staff, particularly Nonie, I appreciated Dr. Yawn's attention and bedside manner so I remained his patient for this period of time. During the COVID 19 Pandemic, after completing labs, for routine check up I was alarmed at the unsanitary conditions of the facility and decided to change primary care physicians. Long story short, the office refused to release my labs to me or my new PCP advising I would need to make an appoint with them to have them reviewed. I continued to tell them I wasn't coming back to them for review, but would have them reviewed with new PCP with whom I had an… appointment scheduled. I was advised the information would be reviewed with Dr. Yawn and he would DECIDE whether or not to send the labs. They would contact me to let me know. After 4 days, and 30 minutes prior to my appointment at the new PCP, they called advising they sent my records to the new PCP. However, at the new PCP the new lab results were not sent. I filed a complaint with my insurance carrier. My appointment with new PCP was pointless as labs needed to be reviewed to treat to serious chronic health conditions. During the past few months treating with Dr Yawn, I found him wanting what I considered "control" rather than treating and being considerate of my health. He disagreed with two specialist's diagnosis, which required assessments, for the same condition and refused to treat. At the end of my treatment with him, I lost a recently filled script from the pharmacy, which Dr Yawn refused to refill. I had never lost a script before while treating with him. The script wasn't one that would cause alarm or a red flag for abuse. In the end, Dr Yawn's original attention and bedside manner fell to the wayside when he stopped being considerate and treating my health conditions. That, coupled with the rudeness of Nonie, his nurse, and unsanitized waiting area, I decided to leave. Best of luck if you decide to treat with Dr. Yawn. He'll be able to schedule you TODAY, but that in itself you make you wonder.

My son was diagnosed with Type I diabetes by Dr. Yawn after having glucose levels over 500 for days and days. Dr. Yawn waited FIVE DAYS before starting him on any insulin and we had to beg him to refer my son to an endocrinologist. We are two weeks post diagnosis and my son has yet to be referred to an endocrinologist and his glucose levels remain high.

Doctor Yawn is skilled, compassionate, caring, gentle and kind. He makes you feel comfortable and really listens to all of your health concerns. He is never rude or rushes you out the door. He gets 5 stars on all of that. His nurses are also terrific. But as others here have pointed out, the office staff is a whole different story. One woman in particular, Tandy, goes out of her way to be very very rude. I see many senior citizens at this clinic and I have seen Tandy bring several of them to tears with her barking at them. She is meaner than a rattlesnake. She has no business being anywhere near patients, not even on the phone. She has been rude to me every time I go there which is too often. I also saw her scream at a new nurse on my last visit in front of patients. For the life of me, how do the doctors and other staff at this clinic not know she is like this? One day she yelled at an old man who asked another woman in the office if she would turn on the tv.… That woman said 'yes, sure' then Tandy jumped up and screamed 'no, no, no, we are not turning the tv on'. The tv is for the patients, not her. Why does she get to decide? I continue to go there only because Timothy Yawn is a great doctor and those aren't easy to find but one day I might get fed up enough to move on if they don't get rid of her.

Dr Yawn is fantastic. He actually listens, asks questions, seems to genuinely care. He is extremely nice and compassionate. His nurses are also friendly and nice. My only complaints are about the lab techs who are not very skilled at drawing blood. I dread doing blood work there. And, the office staff are usually abrasive and rude, they never seem to smile and are not pleasant. I only go there because I think so highly of Dr Yawn.

Dr Yawn is an awesome Doctor. You might have to wait a little longer than usually but he takes time with you and finds out what's wrong.

I love Dr. Yawn. He is the most kind person and a wonderful doctor. Either his office manager likes mean women, or there is no manager and Dr. Yawn has no clue how the staff in the office treats others. Generally, each of them act tolerant. Not sweet, just tolerant. I have seen and heard each of them treat and talk to patients horrible. I have never been treated this way. If I was, I would say, "Do not speak to me like that. Perhaps someone else can help me while you go gather yourself." If it doesn't change anything, I would insist she ask someone else to help me. Dr. Yawn needs to know how his staff treats patients. Nothing will be done about it. He's too kind, and they probably run over him, too. I have gone to him for years. I have several friends that won't go to him because of his staff and his timing issues. Working men/women can't sit in an office for two hours waiting to see the doctor. It might help if the reading material was current, interesting, and… entertaining. I don't care about hunting, fishing, birds, AARP, Family Planning, or raising children. He's a great doctor. His staff has been this way for years and years. It's not going to change. However, no one has to put up with abuse and any person that treats others like that should be asked to change their tone and behavior. (In a nice and quiet way)
