Worst doctor I’ve ever had. Was told that I can’t have Lyme disease or Mediterranean fever. I asked why? She said because Lyme is from tick bites and Mediterranean fever is found in Italians. I paused and said, “well I’ve been bitten by a tick recently and my family moved here from Italy.” Something else came up and she told me that vitamins D levels aren’t normally affected by seasons. My levels ended up being low. I followed up with her. She told me there are no tests left for me and then I kept asking questions and she suddenly came up with tests that she could do.

Despite having a positive and elevated ANA titer to accompany my joint pain, I was told to lose weight and do gentle stretching.

I would Never recommend this doctor. Ever. The worst bedside manner. This doctor and I had a disagreement and it ended with her slaming the door in my face and I was in tears. For the first time , I hated my R.A. Appointments. I really felt uncomfortable.

In spite of going through a number of tests, the doctor Mahajan was not able to diagnose the problem.
