Dr. Tina Maria Metropoulos, DO

Very sweet, but has gone part time. Services are also part time and by various part time helpers who are hampered by part time information, such as records not being current and up to date. Dr M is very thorough, relying on the computer more than patient. Sad the service went downhill, leaving the patient stranded without care. I waited 6 months to post this review, this is a critical assessment of services not rendered, not just me being shocked and appalled at the poor treatment. The one star is for the services I thought I was receiving because she was so sweet and I took that to mean adequate care.

Dr. Metropoulos is very attentive, listens to you one on one and is very thorough. I worked hard to find a physician who is caring, compassionate and listens well. She fits the bill! I highly recommend her.

Was shamed when asked for correct dose of medication after she wrote for wrong dose of medication (she doubled the dose) at an earlier office visit. The next scheduled visit, her office called to have my labs reviewed at my yearly physical instead of next scheduled visit. I agreed. When I arrived to my yearly physical visit appointment I had to remind her to review labs. She acted inconvenienced and annoyed by my request. After 3rd physician visit and feeling repeatedly patronized and belittled, I told her that she made the visits uncomfortable and that she shames her patients. She initially glared at me and then said that I was the only person to feel this way and that we should part ways. This, I can say we were finally in agreement about. After reading the other reviews, I am happy I had verbalized my concerns to her and am ecstatic that other people are publicly sharing their poor experiences as well. Due to her lack of attention, rushing and simple disregard for the human… being sitting in front of her, she completely missed that I had an autoimmune disorder causing me to have hyperthyroidism and autoimmune induced diabetes. Thank goodness for my new provider (not Dr. Metropoulos) who is definitely experienced and has wonderful listening and assessment skills. Little did Dr Metropoulos know that I am an RN as well as my husband is a practicing physician (current and not retired) who has to deal with insurances, time constraints and many different disease processes. Thank you for showing us exactly how not to treat our patients.

Doesn't listen to patients concerns, patronizing and unwilling to take patients and their families seriously.

Doctor is disrespectful, doesn't listen, rushes,and is patronizing. Does not address medical concerns.

Very disappointed! Many patronizing comments were said to me during the visit. It felt very rushed. I was unheard and my condition was left untreated.

Dr. Metropolous is very personable and includes you in decisions for plan of care.
