I had the worst experience! 1st, unfriendly staff who provided no introductions or direction as I was brought into his cluttered office to wait. No introduction from Dr Tran, he only asked me where is my pain and interrupted me when I tried, telling me to point to pictures. He told me to lie down so he could inject me...no explanation! I hesitated and explained I wanted to know what he was going to do, he refused and ranted about crazy things that had nothing to do with him or me and wouldn't let me talk! I finally just walked out! I am still in disbelief that a physician would treat someone, much less a new patient seeking help, with such disrespect and unkindness! Shameful!

This guy worked miracles for me and gave me back the ability to play golf and everything else I was able to do before I had bursitis. One visit, one injection, and a one hour wait for full recovery.

amazing positive results on my right foot

I pulled my lower back muscle the week prior. I was in agonizing pain for a week. I tried to use Tiger balm, hot pads, massage, and exercise but the pain remained. I had trouble standing straight up getting off a chair which causing me to walk with a hunched back. The only thing that was holding me back from going to Dr. Tran was first I tried to self treat myself with the above solution, and second because Dr. Tran is out of network doctor for my insurance. I do not believe he is in network with any insurance company. Last Thursday I had to dragged myself downtown to see him when I could no longer bear the pain. I was seen by the doctor promptly after a short lower back massage by a nurse to loosen up my muscle. While I was laying face down Dr. Tran asked me where the pain was and he proceeded by pressing his fingers on my back to determine the exact locations of the pain. He then gave me a shot at around 7 locations surrounding my lower back. I asked him what medicine he… used and whether he usedany steroids. He indicated to me that he only used one drop of steroids, vitamin B1, some anesthesia and maybe something else which I now cannot recollect. He explained to me what he was trying to do was to loosen my muscle. After the shot, there was a short massage and then he asked me to stand up, leg spread apart, slightly lean back and move my arm in a circular motion. The pain in my back had greatly been reduced by then. The next day I no longer had to hunch my back getting off the chair. I was walking normally. Today is the third day and I am back to pretty much normal. Dr. Tran had asked me to return for two more times but I think this one treatment session is quite adequate. I don't think I will return for a checkup because I pain is gone and I can keep the pain in my back from recurring by exercising. Another reason was to save myself from spending $150 out of pocket for the visit. Dr. Tran is amazing. In one treatment, without the need of x-ray or MRI, he got rid of the pain in my back allowing me to have the quality of life I expect. The last time I saw him was more than 10 years ago for pain in my lower back. The pain at that time was excruciating but localized to one specific spot. He gave me one shot and that took away the pain. I wish he would belong to Blue Cross Blue Shield network where I don't have to pay but for the office visit.
