Dr. Tipu Faiz Muhammed Saleem, MD

Went to this Dr. when a nodule was found on my thyroid during a routine ultrasound of the arteries in my neck at the Ephrata Wellspan Hospital. I went there with a disk containing the ultrasound and a cat scan of my neck. The disk was given to the Doctor who reviewed during our initial visit. During the visit the Doctor talked more about my diabetes then the thyroid. I was not there for the diabetes which another Dr. is treating me for. He then charged my insurance company for the ultrasound and me for the co-pay. He did not perform the ultrasound. When we requested to have the disk back and other information the insurance company said we were entitled to by law, his office staff would not give this to me. This Doctor would not listen to me. I was scheduled for a second visit to do a biopsy on the nodule but I was so uncomfortable with him I would not let him do it. I could not trust him any further. Again I requested the original disk and other information from him but did not get it.… He just wouldn't listen to me. We requested the information a third time over the phone with office staff who hung up on us. We have filed a complaint with the insurance company.

I highly recommend Dr. Salem and his staff.

I was referred to him by my family doctor. I went to him with complaints of lack of energy, low libido, general low mood and malaise. Doctor Saleem is very thorough and takes care to listen to his patients. He did a number of blood tests and quickly honed in on extremely low testosterone. After 2 'T' injections I'm feeling much better in about every way - mentally, physically, sexually. I have blood tests to complete before my followup with him to verify the correct levels for proper dosing. I highly recommend him as an Endocrinologist. Obtaining an appointment is a bit of a challenge. He is one of very few Endo's in the area and as such is very busy. Due to my situation my family doctor requested an urgent appointment - it was granted.

The staff at the drs office were amazing, great, terrific.. The nurse was so good and so was the doctor..The doctor explained everything I was hoping for. great clinic, I will recommended to anyone.

Dr. Saleem and his staff are terrific. Dr. Saleem is patient, highly knowlegeable, and incredibly responsive. He is the best doctor I have ever had and that is saying something. I actually look forward to my visits, as Dr. Saleem and the team work collaboratively with you to achieve the best possible outcome. What I appreciate most is that Dr. Saleem really listens and meets you where you are. It is such a good feeling to like and have confidence in my doctor!!

I like the Docotr he has good knowledge and explains the disease to em in detail, he is nice and polite

Dr. Saleem's office is hardly considered uptodate and professional. In addition, appt. visit reminder calls are not part of his protocol.
