Summary
Tiven was a three-sport athlete in high school who was awarded several MVP, Top Female Athlete and Female Scholar Athlete awards her senior year. While playing field hockey, basketball, and track she sustained a repetitive ankle injury which required physical therapy to keep her competitive. This sparked an interest in the PT field and steered her to The University of Pittsburgh to pursue her career path. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree, she went on to work in multiple areas of practice embracing a diverse population of patients. She brings over 35 years of experience to the table in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facility and home care settings. Client centered PT focusing on patient needs, interest and goals fuels her philosophy for providing individual based treatment programs. Her passion lies in treating outpatient orthopedic cases. Tiven is married with two adult daughters who also work in the medical field. As an enthusiastic dog …lover, she enjoys spending her free time with her three pups. Additionally, she cherishes time with family and friends and loves to recharge her battery at the beach.
