Dr. Tobias Valentine George, MD

I have CRVO, diagonsed through a hospital, in both eyes. I been a patient for over 25 years. and made an appt with Dr. George, to disucss and understand the issue and prognosis. He was zero help. I'm uber concerned as this is a serious issue affecting sight in both eyes. He was impatient, didn't want to listen and acted like his next appointment was more important than me. He's a good Dr for the routine, but I don't recommend him for serious issues. I don't know whether he was having a bad day, but I've moved on.

the staff is rude and unfriendly

Dr. George is a fine Ophthalmologist. I have been with him for 12+ years, and I respect him and his work deeply. He is a reticent person, commenting little, but he is helpful with insturctions and and explaining problems. I have the greatest admiration for Dr. George.

Don't bother unless you want a stressful and VERY LONG (2+ hours, been there for 4 once)wait! Will not be going back after months of hassle and headache!

Dr. George is an excellentdoctor. His skills are beyond reproach, and his succinct answers are helpful. I have seen Dr. George for over 15 years, and my respect and liking for him grows with each visit. Perhaps the only glitch is in the staff, who can appear to be abrupt and rude, although they are very hard working.

Poor patient care and my father is an 88 year old stoke patient moving here from another state with macular degeneration. Poorly run office his former doctor has faxed all records more than 10 days before his first appointment and they had been missed placed.
