Dr. Toby G Mayer, MD

It has been 23 years since I had my flap procedure and forehead lift done by Dr. Mayer, though was very complicated since I had three procedures done, it was the best decision I could of made. Full head of hair, totally natural, and still looks great. When I have my hair cut they do not even notice. I would recommend to anybody that is on the fence, see for yourself.

I hope thorough research is made when vetting your PS, but this man is going to overdo your eye lift or hairline lowering. He ruined my eyes, I no longer have any eye creases because instead of lowering my hair low and bring that down, he did the opposite and pulled my eyebrows and forehead skin upward. I never wanted new eyes, he does what he wants and does not listen to the patient. I regret seeing him and think about the awful he did. He only wants money and has no care for the patients.

This "Doctor" is not empathic and is one of the worst vultures out here in LA, Bev Hills area. He will tell you what you want to hear but will do what he believes is best. He is rude and condescending, but will act kind for business. Please look at before and after photos, he will only show you a select few. Beware. I suffered from severe scarring.

My experience with doctor Mayer was magical. I had a nose surgery about 17 years ago, and though I had some improvements, the main issue was not resolved. I continued having problems breathing and my nose started bending to one side, more than before. I was told it was a very difficult issue to fix. The doctor who performed my nose surgery did not accept the challenge. For the next 10 years I consulted with 6 other doctors in three different countries but none wanted to take on the challenge of fixing my nose. I had almost given up until I met doctor Mayer. After my initial consolation he was the first doctor in 10 years that told me with full confidence, he could fix my nose. Although I was skeptical based on my previous experiences, there was no doubt in his mind. I thought I was doomed to have a crooked nose for as long as I lived. However after he took the time to discuss my case with me, his confidence created confidence in me. We agreed we should proceed with my second… surgery. Making the long story short, I am very happy to share that my surgery went great and I am very happy with my new nose. I am truly enjoying the way I look and doctor Mayer’s great work. What I love the most is that it looks so natural, and that’s exactly what I wanted. I am proud to highly recommend Dr. Mayer and his team. His assistant, Francis, is a nice and caring person who helped me with everything I needed and made me feel good even when I was anxious, nervous or in doubt. Thank you Dr. Mayer and team.

I first Saw Dr mayor in 2005 for a revision Rhinoplasty and he gave me the exact nose I have always wanted so that's why in 2018 when I decided to have a face lift I went back to Dr mayer, at 48 I looked tired, and old. A Year after the procedure I Could not be happier, again Dr Mayor Did not disappoint me my face looks totally Natural, and I Believe he took 10 -12 years off my face he has proven to me once again that he is an excellent Surgeon. And I would like to thank him once again for changing my life for the better.

While I wanted to consult with a number of other surgeons for my facial feminization, Dr. Toby Mayer was the first surgeon to see me. After our consult I felt confident he was the best possible option. His portfolio spoke for itself and his attitude and demeanor was professional, to the point and inspired confidence. The staff at Dr. Mayer’s office were excellent and walked me through all aspects of the surgery and scheduling. They were thorough and helpful and at no point I found myself uncomfortable or overwhelmed with any of it. The surgery went without any trouble and recovery was fast and with no complications. Even after two weeks post-surgery I was back at work and able to go out and be functional. The results as of 6 months have been great! I cannot thank Dr. Mayer and the team enough. I can look at myself in the mirror and not feel dissociated by my own reflection. I don’t foresee the need for any sort of revision as everything went exactly as I had hoped.

Would never put a good guy down. This was a huge mistake. Never would want anyone to experience to horror I faced. Unreversed damage has been done. Him and his staff are brainwashed and money hungry.
