Stared at me apathetically while I was in agonizing pain, asked 2 questions, and left. Came back in an hour later, spoke 2 sentences, then left. No bedside manner whatsoever, didn’t care. Acted like it was such an imposition to walk into the room. Never met such an uncaring individual in healthcare.

No compassion, terrible bedside manor. I'm a healthcare provider myself and found myself as his pt in the Emergency Dept. I had an obvious neurological issue and he performed little to no Neuro assessment, had no interest in my concerns regarding my illness and the disability it was causing , much less the acute discomfort. I hope I never make a patient in my care feel the way he made me feel. Novant, you can and should do better.
