Dr Todd Alekshun, MD

Nothing but good things to say about Dr Alekshun. He is caring thorough professional and on time. He listens to the patient offering suggestions or help if needed. He has made my experience with cancer more tolerable.

I’m grateful for the referral to Dr. Alekshun. He is extremely knowledgeable. Very calm. Exceptionally clear, kind, and reassuring. I felt like I had been thrown headfirst into a sea of confusion and pummeled by waves of terminology I didn’t understand after receipt of a sobering diagnosis that came out of the blue. Dr. Alekshun took the time to help me understand what was going on and in doing so he gave me some sense of direction again. I will always remember that. His office staff is very efficient and understanding which I really appreciated during the information gathering process of identification and treatment.

Staff is very friendly and Dr. Alekshun is always ready to answer any questions I may have.

He was very thorough, addressed my concerns and answered all my questions. He took his time and never made me feel rushed.

I find the staff very friendly and efficient. Dr. Alekshun is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions. When I visit Starling physicians, I feel the doctors are given limited time to spend with patients. Should my health situation become more serious, I would hope the doctor will be able to give me the necessary office time.

Dr. Alekshun always answers all my questions, provides details on current and future next steps is pleasant and helpful.

Dr. Alekshun is ok as a Doctor. I have had far better experiences with other doctors. His staff, especially his assistant is awful. Her basic customer services/patient service skills are appalling. I have never once received a call back from this office when they said they would, leaving me to have to keep calling and leaving messages over weeks time. This is all as I am waiting on test results. I find this unacceptable. They have no regard for your time. They have change my appointment time without calling me to ask if it is ok, they just call the day before your appointment to confirm and give you a different time, this has happened numerous times. I have the staff write down my appointment times and give me a screen shot of their computer screen. This last time it was done to me. When i ask why the time has changed I was simple told because the doctor wants you here earlier. This was for a regular check up. I am a working mother so my time is just as valuable and i have to… move stuff around to accommodate my appointments, that I am never late for. I have only stayed with this Dr. because it was conveniently located close to my job and home, but my job is relocating to another town and I will now be looking for another oncologist. I would not recommend Dr, Alekshun.

Dr Alekshun is a highly skilled physician and highly intelligent as well. He is board certified in both oncology and hematology. He is patient, kind and goes the distance with every patient. He truly cares and that is indeed a rarity these days. I am very particular about what doctors I allow into my health team and I am so happy to have Dr. A on my side.
