Dr. Todd Mitchell Antin, MD

A visit to Dr. Antin's office meant meeting with the doctor for 5 to 10 minutes. During my last and final visit, Dr. Antin actually checked his phone and sent a text while I was talking to him. The medications he prescribed me caused major side effects which I brought to his attention in every visit. He claimed it was "impossible" that I was having side effects despite what the manufacturers' websites said. He actually told me I would likely be having those symptoms even if I was taking a placebo. Do not seek treatment from Dr. Antin if you are looking for a doctor that cares, or even pretends to care, how your symptoms are affecting your life. It is apparent that he thinks very highly of himself, and it's that narcissism that got in the way of my treatment. I felt worse every time I left his office.

I was referred to Dr. Antin last year. My first appointment was with an assistant and a $30 copay. The total appointment lasted for 2-3 hours; Dr. Antin came in at the end. Asked a couple of questions & he was gone (I never saw or spoken to him again). They ended up prescribing meds & set me up with another appointment. The next appt...$30 copay... I was told it was to speak with the therapist to start my first session. NOPE! A student came in asking questions & wanted me to be apart of her case study. What?!?! I haven’t spoken to an actual therapist. when I refused the case study, the nurse came in to ask about the prescribed meds. At this point I was annoyed. I just got off working a 12 hour night shift to be here talking about meds? You could’ve called me. Still haven’t spoken to a therapist (Robin) I made an appointment last week for Wednesday. Payed a $30 copay AGAIN. I had a 2:30pm appt via phone... 3pm no call... 3:15... no call... 3:30, no call... I called the desk & was… told they were trying to contact nurse Jamil D.. At 3:40pm, guess what, he had his student to call me to ask about the medicine. Dude you are well over an hour late & you have your student to call AND I didn’t make my appointment with YOU! I asked to speak with a THERAPIST! Needless to say I was done! I didn’t speak to Jamil and I never gotten to speak with a therapist after 3-4 appointments but they got my $30 copay & whatever else they ripped my insurance company out of. Now they are trying to give me a hard time about my last $30 copay. And they are trying to say I owe for a missed appointment from Dec 2019. When I left I didn’t make an appointment. Yesterday the missed appointment fee was $20, today, she said $25. Of course, the refund lady Aledford was not at work but I left her a message on Monday (When she was at work) and it’s Thursday. She never returned my calls. Please, save your money & time with this company. The run around starts with Amber at the front desk to you trying to get your refund back from A. Ledford. This miscommunications, unprofessionalism, misappropriation of funds & services are shocking! If you truly need mental healthcare, don’t come here, they don’t care. I have been seeing Dr Antin over 10 years, one day he walks in after I was being interviewed by his students and he just dropped me as a patient knowing that the drugs he has been giving me all these years are highly addictive. His reason is because of some new Georgia law. I am now sick and struggling with an addiction.

This guy and his practice is a major joke and waste of time! After waiting in the lobby just under an hour, they take you in the back. Not to see the doctor just yet, but some of his medical students for them to ask you about 100 questions! Then after an hour of questions Dr Antin comes into the room for maybe 5 mins!! Again a complete waste of my time. He reviews what the students asked, then starts asking me questions. The same questions the students asked!! He also has very bad bed side manners and is very cocky! I will never go here again! If you do not believe me look at the Yelp reviews. He is all about taking your money! Horrible!!

His staff is not good with people, the doctors too

Dr. Antin is a great doctor. He listens well, offers sound advice, and works closely with patients to improve their lives. I've been a patient of his for several years and my life has gotten better as a result. Each visit is progress.

I love Dr. Antin he is so helpful and a gem to work with. I love the quality and service he and his staff provides on each office visit. The wait time is minimal and the staff offers me items if the wait seems a bit longer than the norm. On an occasion or two Dr. Antin has personally called my home to confirm my dr appointments; which made my day...I believe he just wanted to make sure I was feeling fine and following his advice as he prescribed.

dr Antin is very kind and thoughtful. He spends a lot of time with me and listens to my concerns His staff is extremely helpful at well. I drive an hour each way to see him and it is well worth it It's a great office

dr Antin's office has superior service. Everyone is helpful. Wait times short. Plenty of samples and they respond to my requests in a timely manner. I will continue to go there for as long as I need to. His office is outstanding in all ways
