Dr. Todd Allan Baumbacher, MD

After being dismissed at Sharp Coronado and told I had a viral infection, my symptoms got worse. I went to Sharp Grossmont and was fortunate to be seen by Dr. Baumbacher. He was kind, attentive, and took my concerns seriously. He ran more thorough tests and correctly diagnosed a bacterial infection. He made sure I was comfortable and actually treated my symptoms—something I didn’t receive at the first ER. He’s the kind of ER doctor you hope to get when you’re not feeling your best—knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received. What really stood out was that he personally called me the next day to check in. That level of care and follow-up is rare and meant a lot. Dr. Baumbacher is an outstanding ER doctor who truly goes above and beyond.

Dr. Todd Baumbacher seemed very arrogant, unwilling to ask for help when he obviously did not know what he was doing. He is in the right speciality of emergency medicine because he would be horrible if he had patients in a practice, since he seems to enjoy discharging more than treating and caring about the patient and his/her needs.
