Dr. Todd Andrew Benton, MD

Dr. Todd Benton is a wonderful pediatrician. Not only is he great with our son, but he takes our concerns seriously. When we were faced with the possibility that our sin contracted a rare parasite, Dr. Benton took it upon himself to research the vector and disease, contact the CDC and health department, and send off a sample of the bug we saved. When it was found to have the parasite, he scheduled labs to be ran on our son. Through the whole process, he contacted us weekly and kept is updated with any and all new information. He spends as much time with us as we want, even without an appointment, and never rushes us. He is the must patient doctor I've ever met, and I'm so grateful to have him as our pediatrician.

Dr.Benton is outstanding. He is very caring, and he is willing to go above and beyond to help his patients. My son has a VERY rare condition. Dr.Benton is very observant and he helped put a big piece of the puzzle together when my son was just 6 months old. He set us up with a amazing team of specialists in Jackson that confirmed his hunch. I've had to take my son to the ER in the past and have been asked by those Doctors to explain what my sons condition is because they have simply never heard of it. I am very lucky to have had Dr.Benton care for my son, I'm not sure how things would have turned out if I had selected another doctor who was not so observant and smart. This man paid very close attention to what he was taught while in medical school and I could not be more grateful for him being passionate about his job. He's simply a wonderful person! I'm just extremely sad he recently moved from Meridian.
