Dr. Todd A. Bergstrom, D.C. is a highly skilled chiropractor serving patients in the Puyallup, WA area. 

Practicing at Swendsen Chiropractic Clinic, Dr. Bergstrom and his team use an advanced system of spinal care and central nervous system restoration that has shown profound, unprecedented, and dramatic results for patients seeking their care.

With his safe, gentle and effective approach, he is able to help his patients with many types of health conditions due to pressure on the nervous system caused by vertebrae that can't move properly or postural mis-alignment known as vertebral subluxation complex.

Dr. Bergstrom earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance and Exercise Science from the University of Montana in 2007. A series of sports injuries during his football career led him to many forms of treatment, but it wasn’t until his final injury that he discovered chiropractic care and experienced true relief. That experience inspired him to pursue …chiropractic medicine; he completed his Doctorate in Chiropractic Science at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, in 2012 and gained further clinical experience working in a busy established clinic in western Washington before joining Swendsen Chiropractic Clinic.

Clinically, Dr. Todd combines an athletic background with ongoing learning to deliver patient-focused care. He uses a range of techniques—including Diversified, instrument-assisted methods, the Activator, and muscle energy techniques—to address spinal and musculoskeletal issues and help patients return to their favorite activities. During his training he provided chiropractic care to homeless and underprivileged populations in Portland, which broadened his perspective on community health and reinforced his commitment to accessible care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Todd is an avid outdoor enthusiast who spends time skiing (often at Crystal Mountain), swimming in Lake Tapps, hiking with his dog, and golfing. He values community service—an ethic developed through volunteer programs in high school and college—and is excited to bring his expertise and dedication to serving patients closer to home at Swendsen Chiropractic Clinic.
