Horrible doctor. I’ve been hospitalized for an injury from a steroid injection. He was unprofessional, and when I told him as such, he said he DID NOT CARE. He also misquoted medical literature (and wouldn’t listen to the correct information, only citing he had years of experience. Sorry- experience doesn’t outweigh peer reviewed medical literature), misquoted MI law (and again wouldn’t listen when I corrected him, simply stating he ‘didn’t know what I was looking at’ when I was reading the law out loud to him), and told me there was NO cure or treatment for me, which directly contradicts every single other medical provider I have ever seen. Don’t waste your time on this man’s god complex. He clearly cannot handle when people call him out for not knowing the things he’s supposed to know as a pain management physician.

Even if you have insurance and are within his network (can't emphasize this point enough as he seems very biased, discriminatory) there will be No diagnosis or appointment scheduled after physician referral was faxed into his office. Difficult to schedule appointment. Staff wasn't explanatory on which physician referrals he accepts.

Not a bad moment and he found a neurological disease the "BEST". No way true, but the Royal Oak Beaumont hospital was very harmful doing the test and made the situation worse. Thank you Dr Best

Dr. Best spends quality time with you at your appointment. He listens to your concerns and is truly interested in helping you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Best many years. He takes the time to listen to you. He does not spend 10 min and he is out the door. I have recommended him to others and have heard great reviews from them.

Dr. Best is the standard by which all doctors should be measured against. He listens and he helps in a holistic fashion!

This doctors certainly strives to live up to his name. He cares, he listens, and he knows what he is doing. He is one of the finest doctors I have ever known!
