Dr. Todd P Boren, MD

Wow! What a sweet man! He’s as kind, patient and gentle as anyone Ive ever known. He very easy to talk to just like a treasured friend. Im so happy to have met him, hes completely won my trust, and that just means so much in difficult times. You cant help but love this one!! He’s a very unique person.

Around Christmas we were told we'd need to get my wife Lynn a Hysterectomy. It became much more alarming as we were told later it was cancerous. We were sent to Dr. Todd Boren at Erlanger Womens Oncology here in Chattanooga. As we went through our appointments we began to learn the many things we needed concerning cancer removal and treatment along with her condition. We are lucky that it was caught early with the cancerous cells not going through the Uterus muscle walls yet to spread. It's amazing that all of this can even be tested and we can be told how far the cancer had penetrated the Uterus muscle. Enough so that Dr. Todd Boren recommended that we do 5 non invasive radiation treatments after the hysterectomy to insure that nothing cancerous was left, and nothing cancerous would recurr. As Lynn questioned him about all this, I asked Dr. Boren "How many overall Patient Cancer Case's do you see each year." He replied, "probably over 400 a year." Based on Todd's decent mannerism's,… the heart that I found in him regarding his care for those he treats in his practice, the fact that I see a belief in God in him, I wanted to record this in "The Book of Life" in Heaven and state publicly for Todd Patrick Boren, that mine and Lynn's experience with him this past few month's is greatly appreciated and we want everyone including all of heaven to know we think he is one of the finest Women's Oncology Doctor's around! We very much appreciate this time under his direction and leadership!

my mom and i were both pts of dr boren and i cant say enough good about him... his staff was also very good to work with.. very attentive and had very good follow through! only change i would say that needs to take place is the waiting area :)

Dr Boren is an excellent physician. During my cancer treatments in Dallas at UTSW he worked with my Gyn-Onc. Dr Boren is a good listener, compassionate and has a wonderful sense of humor. He is an excellent surgeon and it was a pleasure to know him. I wish him the best in his new practice.
