Dr. Todd Lawrence Chambers

I have been seeing Dr Chambers for about 3 years now. Also, both of my children also are seen by him. I feel very comfortable with him providing care for not only me but my children. One thing that I like about him is that he takes the time to explain things and has never once made me feel rushed. For the people who put in their review he was an hour late, that is probably why! Because he takes time to answer question and explain things to you. I have also had to wait longer to be seen, but that is what you get with a DR who takes his time with patients. You cant get a fast wait time and a DR who takes time with his patients , that would be impossible. He was at the hospital when my youngest child was born and that was a great experience as well. I would rate him a 5/5 because I feel that he is a great Dr , very friendly, answers questions well. I would also like to add that he is great with children, my daughter is always excited to have an appt with him, which is nice.

There was something very uncomfortable about this doctor. He didn't seem to care about me as a person, just as another number in files. He is very thoughtless, and seems to only care about making a dollar. I would not trust this doctor's opinions. He is not looking out for the best interest of his patients only his pockets!

Oh where do I begin... First of all, he was running an hour behind. I didn't let that get to me because I know how doctor's can be. I went in for a physical and told the doctor about my medical history. He ordered labs which I assumed were routine because I was there for a routine visit. Well, a couple weeks later I received a hefty bill for all of my labs. Apparently my insurance did not cover the labs because Dr. Chambers coded them with my chronic disease, which I have had for years and I see a specialist for. I did not see Dr. Chamber for my disease, only for a routine visit. I specifically did that so I would not have out-of-pocket expenses. I contacted him and all he could tell me was that since I had that disease he coded my labs that way because he feels no labs were necessary. Gee, thanks for letting me know ahead of time! I was under the impression that everything would be 'routine' since that is why I was there. He was so thoughtless and careless! He first told… me to contact membership services. Well, membership services told me to talk with the doctor because he was the one who coded it. Dr. Chambers says it is the ways it is and he wasn't going to change it. I have seen many doctors in my past and all have done routine labs under preventative/routine care (all of those doctors knew about my medical history/chronic disease).
