Dr. Todd Alan Dingman, MD

I was told prior to my appointment that office would bill my medical insurance and whatever they didn't cover I would be responsible for. At the time of my appointment office tried to get me to pay $460 upfront before I even saw the doctor. I told them no way Jose and I left. Like the numerous other negative reviews all over the internet about this guy's billing practices...this is yet one more added to the pile. STAY FAR AWAY from this money hungry practitioner!

The wait was long and the treatment was bad

It was a bad deal for me and my kids.. don't go to this dr...

Dr. Dingman put two (adjacent) implants in the back of my lower jaw, left side, in 1998. In the course of the procedure I experienced less discomfort than having a cavity filled. I have had no trouble with the implants in the subsequent 17 years. Everything else, including fuss and fooforah in re insurance filings, is utterly irrelevant.

from the moment I first called I was treated like I was the only person that Mattered. As I arrived at the office and walked in I was greeted with a welcome and a caring smile. The Dr spent time doing the exam and explained everything to me in words that I could understand. I set the appointment and found that everything went as planned. The front office girls even billed my ins for me. Thanks

Dr. Dingman listened totally to my concern. He asked good questions, he made helpful comments. He took samples and communicated the results to me. We discussed what the results meant and how best to treat my condition. He called later to check on my progress and to get copies of additional testing I had done in Phoenix at the Mayo Clinic. My husband and I were both very impressed with Dr. Todd Dingman and would recommend his services to anyone.

Dr. Dingman pretends to know what he's doing but is a real phony due to the sub-standard work that he did on my mouth. He has extremely poor planning skills in putting together a treatment plan and is even worse at trying to do the job right. The "hack job" he did on my mouth was noticed by another dentist within a month of three dental implants that he recklessly placed for me. He had no idea what he was doing -- placing one in the roof of my mouth or palette. Dr. Dingman would have had me looking like a "witch". Thankfully, another oral surgeon was able to remove the tooth implants that Dr. Dingman "messed up" on me. His rude office refunded costs to me but the "pain and suffering" that I endured from him was uncalled for and they offered no apology. I would NOT recommend Dr. Todd Dingman to any poor unsuspecting patient. If that's the "best that he can do", then it's time for him to retire.

My daughter had a procedure at Dr. Dingman's. My issue with this office is the staff. They filed insurance. Since I was getting statements, I called them and they said they did not hear from my ins. co. So I guess that means they won't follow up. My insurance co. never received the claim. I called to let them know. They apparently filed a second time. Now I received a letter saying my account could be sent to collections in 15 days. I called my insurance to find out the claim was finally received and was pending. Then I called the office about the letter. They are defensive and rude. I have not had any problems with my insurance and even called ahead to make sure the procedure was covered. Then I called the dental office to make sure I covered the percentage I would owe to Dr. Dingman. Wow. I guess the office staff don't expect to follow up on anything. Very disappointed. Not the kind of help I would want representing me.

While Dr. Dingman is a good doctor and very caring it is his office staff that was the most disappointing. I have TMJ and needed a procedure done. I was told my insurance company would cover it. NO that was not true, they did not cover any of the $2000 procedure. I don't have that kind of money the procedure was done already and now I make monthly payments while being charged a monthly charge of 25% of my payment. They took absolutely no ownership of this situation and I will not go back there again because of it.

No one wants to go to the oral surgeon, but if you are in pain and need his help, Dr Dingman is excellent. He takes whatever time is needed and is a gentle as possible. Communication skills are excellent.
