    Dr. Todd Gillan completed his Bachelor of Science degree in the School of Pharmacy at Ferris State University, and became a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Michigan. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) at the University of Michigan.
    Since starting his practice in Lowell, Dr. Gillan has completed a five year course at the United States Dental Institute in Comprehensive Orthodontics and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD). He also has successfully completed courses in Occlusion, Esthetics, Oral Surgery, and Invisalign. Recently, he completed a two year course in Orognathic Bioesthetics, and several courses in Obstructive Sleep Apnea.Â
    He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, West Michigan District Dental Society, and Kent County District Dental Society.
    Dr. Gillan has attended many continuing education courses around the country from some of the most …respected speakers and clinicians in the field. He is planning a trip to Minneapolis in September to further his study of Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
    Over the past four years, Dr. Gillan and his staff started a program to provide free dental care to those in need who use the services of our Flat River Outreach Ministry.
    He has four children, two boys and two girls, who all graduated from Lowell High School from 2001-2010. He enjoys spending time with his family, sailboarding, waverunning, traveling, golfing, exercising and fitness, and watching the Lowell Red Arrow football, wrestling, and other sport programs.
    Dr. Gillan and his staff have always diligently worked at educating their patients to give them the most knowledge to better take care of their oral health as well as their overall health. They also believe that in giving their patients all the possible options to treatment, pro's and con's, with all of the fees, they can make the best informed decisions for themselves.
