Dr. Todd Stephen Jarosz, MD

I was his patient in Greenville NC and he was supposed to remove a tumor before placing plates and rods. He left the tumor and placed all the hardware in front of the tumor. When I asked him why he left the tumor he then told me he wasn't a neurosurgeon ! I'd have never agreed to the surgery if I'd have known he was pulling a slimy bait and switch. He lies and is not trustworthy. I wish I'd never even met him.

He was actually the second at ARH to perform a surgery on my shoulder. He said it had frozen so I agreed to the manipulation. Well, come to find out not only did the first surgeon fail in his attempt so did jarosz. Jarosz did the manipulation but didn’t offer to repair my torn rotator cuff and during manipulation ha stated in his post opp he had torn my labrum fro 9 o’clock to 3 o’clock. Never attempted to do anything about it. Closed my incision and put me back into therapy. To no avail I have now had 3 surgeries on the same shoulder. Thankfully the surgeon in Lexington corrected the botched repair ARH performed. Well on my way to recovery now. Due to the negligence of ARH surgeons(Richard slusher and Todd Jarosz) I have been off work for 10 months now and would have never gotten better if I had not went somewhere more qualified. I thought when I was under they would have repaired anything pertaining to my injury but I was completely wrong . Definitely do not recommend either of… these two so called surgeons affiliated with the ARH in Hazard Kentucky

This doc should have licensed revoked AND should serve time in jail. I know this, he knows this. He needs to get these behaviors under control!

I had a fusion by Dr. Jarosz in 2014. At my 2-week appointment, he told my husband and I that he did the wrong surgery on me. This was awful to hear, as he had fused 3 levels of my lumbar spine. After my fusion, I got worse. I have permanent nerve damage and now unable to work. Every doctor I have seen since having has told me that he did do the wrong surgery on me. Now I’m stuck in pain all day & night. Please, for the sake of your family/caretakers, consider another surgeon.

Jarosz did 3 surgeries on my neck and has left me at age 45 disabled. On top of this , he began visiting me in rehab and then at home. Convinced me he “loved me” The medical board only gave him a slap on the hand. He is a predator. The time in my life I JUST needed a doctor, I became his sex slave.

We've been seeing Dr. Jarosz for almost 6 months. He's a passionate physician who cares deeply about his patients. He treated us as though we were his only patients. He performed spine fusion on my husband and the surgery was a huge success. He has changed our lives for the better. He is our hero! Rob and Lilly

It is beyond me how Dr. Jarosz received those Great Reviews. He fused my back from L5 to S1. Could not sit or stand and in awful awful pain after surgery. He did a second surgery one month later to shorten screws but the damage har already been done. His exact words "I've done all I can do and you will have to live with it". How uncaring and inconsiderate. I pray no one ever has to experience what I went through. If you need back surgery you might want to think twice about letting Dr. Jarosz do back surgery on you.

Stay away from this doctor!!! I almost died as he kept making more & more mistakes on me. We kept running into others (wearing back braces who had this doctor) and they had nightmare experiences also (one young man who is having to use a walker)!!!!

I was traveling in SC and messed my back up. I was unable to walk. ER visit , MRI, Dr. Jarosz visit and surgery 6 days later I was walking with no pain in my back the morning after surgery! It just wonderful to be able to walk. Two weeks later, I was on a 1000 mile ride to Texas. Can not say enough good about the care I received from Dr. Jarosz.

He has done my 3rd back surgery due to a bad fall where I broke something inside. Never doubted him. He can be a bit brash at times, but you always know exactly where you stand medically with him. He even called me every few days to check on me & NO Dr. has ever taken the time to do that before. I truely felt he cared about my health & my life & will always be grateful for what he's done for me. Sure, the post surgery was not as smooth as I wish it had been, but I believe others in the hospital setting made my physicians job so much harder than it should have been due to their ignorance & lack of their own training. Dr. Jarosz is a wonderful doctor & human being!!
