Dr. Todd Bradley Kaye, MD

Dr Kaye is by far the best endocrinologist I have worked with. He has a warm manner and a quick smile. He will give the relevant information in terms as simple or as technical as the patient requests. He worked with me instead of ordering me. Based on the data I gave him between visits he adjusted my medications so I could make faster progress. My numbers are at target and I have sustained them thanks to his problem solving and encouragement.

I had a high calcium for a couple of years, and he just kept telling me to wait and see if it went away. It didn't. A few months ago, I moved to another county and switched healthcare providers. My new endocrinologist ran some tests, then referred me for surgery right away. As I understand it, there's no reason to "wait and see." If your calcium is high, you should be checked out, and if it's primary hyperparathyroidism, there's no reason to delay surgery. Delaying just increases the chances of osteoporosis and kidney stones.

He doesn't know much about thyroid, and cannot diagnose thyroid diseases at all. What's even worse is he doesn't listen to patients' concerns at all. I'd suggest everyone avoid him, especially for thyroid problems.

Dr. Todd Kaye is an excellent doctor. He cares about his patients very much. After my thyroid biospy was done from another doctor which is his colleage, once the result came out, he informed me immediately and very patient to explain about the result, always answer all my questions. I highly recommend him to everyone. His specialty is thyroid.
