Dr. Todd Robert Lepine, MD

I never give 1 star reviews but Dr. LePine cost me thousands of dollars on testing, supplements, and visits, which all amounted to inappropriate treatment, unnecessary tests, and wasted time during appointments. While he seemed smart and thoughtful in a podcast interview, in reality, he’s sloppy and unfocused. He gives 8 supplements to try on your own, takes 1-3 weeks to answer emails, dwells on unimportant family history (like your grandmother’s skin problems, when you’re there for GI help), doesn’t think through treatment recommendations (like not checking overlap in ingredients resulting in double doses), wastes time going over history you’ve already given, sends you studies without summarizing them, doesn’t leave time for questions, and more. He spaghetti-slings treatment suggestions despite his overly detailed testing and history interview. He doesn’t use common sense. And if you email him, you won’t get clear answers to your questions. He caused me so much stress. Do not see him.

I'm so disappointed with the experience I had with Dr. LePine. I followed up for a long time watching his teachings and podcast and really thought he could help me. First, his "bedside manners" were terrible. He was rushed, rude and spent precious of my paid time with him to lecture me on why I didnt take a specific test. My first visit, he was screen sharing a google search and had "fat 40 year old female" written in the search bar. I was mortified and it was incredibly rude on his part. Additionally, his follow up treatment plan is very unclear. His follow up plan literally consisted of the same bullet points with a new one at the top referring me to a nutritionist to help with AIP diet. Why would I do that, the AIP protocol literally lives everywhere on the internet. Just awful all around. Don't waste your money with him.

Dr. Lepine had the knowledge & experience I needed, yet it didn't feel as though he really engaged with me as a patient. IMO, he seemed too busy or distracted (travel, teaching, lecturing, private practice, etc.) to provide patient education and follow through necessary. I found it difficult to track him down to ask a brief question or to remind him to read the emails I'd sent.

Í have battled chronic disease for 15 years- nobody could help Me Until I met Dr. lepine. He saved my life. Very smart and kind doctor.
