had 1st appt today. thought he was spectacular & I have more experience with Dr.s than I'd care to mention.

Dr. Lewis was recommended to me by my heart specialist. I am so glad he did. I had to wait almost an hour to see him but he spent an hour with me. He took his time, answered my questions and even some I didn't have. What impressed me was that he didn't say "it's the best that can be done". Instead he said "I'm going to make you better". I walked in with no hope and he gave me huge doses of hope that I can get better. He was funny, too! We laughed. I spoke with a nurse at Flagler Hospital who has worked with Dr. Lewis. She said all the nurses love him because he thinks outside the box. I'm feeling blessed and whatever happens, I know he is on my side!

A wonderful, intelligent doctor. He is very easy to talk to and he listens. I am happy he is my cardiologist.

Dr. Lewis is a very wonderful doctor. I have been seeing him since bypass surgery. He ahs worked to get me on the right meds - changing them as need to make my life much better than it has been in the past 20 years. He is realistic about what I can do and encourages me to live a good life on my terms. I would not think of going to anyone else. Great Doctor.

My first impression and first apt with Dr Lewis and I was very satisfied. I felt he was genuinely concerned about my health and appreciate the time he spent with me to learn about me, my family and my history. Dr Lewis came recommended by my Primary and I am very satisfied.

Came in dirty, would not listen, told me he did not have time for me, I was an inpatient! God complex, did not care for me at all.

While Cardiovascular Associates has cardiologists who are better known, I've preferred Dr. Lewis, who I met at Prince William Hospital. He is leaps and bounds better than most doctors I have worked with, in that he is knowledgable, exacting, and aggressive in pursuing the patient's interests. He has been more than forthcoming in discussing and explaining complicated heart problems, and he doesn't resort to patronizing. With Dr. Lewis, I have the sense that he is going to cut through the smoke and eliminate any obstacles to a patient's well beng, whether that be medication costs, insurance, ER protocols, or what-not. This guy is a keeper who I expect will become one of the most highly rated cardiologists in Northern Virginia in a couple of years.
