I really like Dr. Locher. He's been my pulmonologist for 3 years now since we moved to Tucson. I have complicated long history and he seems to manage it fairly well. He's very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

This was my first visit with Dr. Locher. In the past I had had chest xrays and a PET scan. Through all of that no one ever called me to explain them to me. Dr. Locher spent a good 45 minutes with me reading my reports and explaining them to me. He even left the room to actually look at some of the xrays. I was very pleased with my visit with him and would recommend him.

Very knowledgeable physician. Extremely professional. But most of all he cares about his patients. Highly recommend him. I was seriously ill and he pulled me though.

Went for follow up after a CT Scan and he had not even read it. Totally unaware. I said I saw it on my portal. He did not ask questions about my drugs. After we talked he was going to place orders for nebulizer meds. As it turned out, the pharmacy had no orders when my husband went to pick up. That took a other day to figure out. Seemed unprepared for appointment, and huge amount of paperwork again.

Would not recommend. Appointments were rushed. I had a bad case of valley fever. I saw Dr Locher a couple times while hospitalized and 3 times as an outpatient. Every time as an outpatient he was unprepared. It was like seeing him for the first time. The last time I saw him was a follow up for valley fever but he started by commenting on my sleep habit questionnaire. He had no idea why I was there. He then had to go review my latest cat scan which he ordered and provided a less than 1 minute assessment. Terrible bedside manner. I will not see him again.
