Went to ER because I passed out in the shower and hit my head hard. Had a large lump on back of my head Dr. M did not even check it. I’ve been struggling with very high blood pressure and my internist had increased my meds the day before. Before showering my BP dropped severely. I’m sure that’s why I passed out. When I got to the ER my BP was high again. My head was hurting. I’m allergic to morphine. Dr. M knew that. Said it was that or nothing. I took it and started itching. Gave me Benadryl. Said he’d do a CT but didn’t think it was worth it. My husband wanted me to have it. When I came back from CT, a CNA came in removed my IV line. The nurse came in with discharge papers. My BP was 170’s over 117? I asked to speak to Dr. McGregor. He came in, handed me some papers and said your CT was “prestine”! WHAT!!! Didn’t acknowledge my BP was very high. Didn’t ask about my pain level, a 8 out of 10. This visit cost us over $1500.00 which we can’t afford. And yes, that’s… after insurance. I left feeling worse than when I went in and vowing I will NEVER step foot in an ER again! Dr. McGregor has NO business practicing medicine. I would have given him 0 stars if I could.
