Working in the walk-in clinic gives me the opportunity to help others with their immediate healthcare needs to the upmost of my skills and knowledge. I strive to partner with patients, while balancing their needs with evidence-based practices. I always try to explain my thoughts to give them an understanding of what’s going on and what the next steps will be.
Urgent care has been the cornerstone of my practice since entering the profession in 2012 as a military physician assistant. As such, I have training and/or experience in orthopedics, trauma management, infectious diseases and occupational medicine. I have seen patients as young as four months old and as old as 101 years old.
